Part II:
Winter Halcyon, the broken bird... She has fallen into the depths of nostalgia and a sense of overwhelming feelings of affection, the second part of the poem Harbinger of Handcuffs is represented by this track.
lyrics
In those nights of hopelessness,
The halcyon found an escape
in her only friend,
The Phoenix,
last of his kind.
Oh the Phoenix! He cleansed her soul,
washed off all the charcoal,
with his tears-those tears,
and their magical healing powers
enable the halcyon
to look to the infinite firmament above.
Little did she know,
her perpetrators had well been warned
Afraid they were,
that the phoenix would steal her wings
the wings-her key to freedom.
They resorted to brutality yet again;
they burnt the Phoenix to ashes.
Only if they had known,
that he would return back,
building himself,
from those neglected embers.
But the halcyon meanwhile,
she shattered in his absence.
The despair had returned,
and it withered her.
Oh you mighty sinners!
Why was I devoid of my wings,
but not my soul,
a soul so bright when I was born ?
wept the Winter Halcyon.

Black Metal to interesting topics, it's very philosophical with always a part of violence and hate. Sick ambience, crude production, there is personality in the voice although there is no variations, even if this voracity is pleasant. To my taste, it's really sickly and weird. darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM)
